Our Approach to Collaborative Care
Chiropractors play a complementary role in managing spinal and musculoskeletal conditions.
We believe the best outcomes come from a multidisciplinary approach.
Our practitioners are trained to:
- Actively communicate with GPs and other providers about shared patients.
- Identify contraindications to manual therapy.
- Recognise when conditions require medical or specialist referral.
- Provide clear progress and outcome notes when requested.
Making a referral is simple. Choose the option that best suits your workflow:

Frequently Asked Questions
No, private patients can book directly without a referral. However, if you would like to ensure continuity of care or the patient is attending under Medicare or DVA arrangements, a referral is required. Many referrers still choose to provide one so we can communicate back with progress updates.
Referrals can be made by email, telephone, or post. Our contact details are listed on this page for convenience. Once received, our team will contact the patient promptly to arrange their appointment.
Our chiropractors focus on musculoskeletal conditions including back pain, neck pain, headaches, sciatica, disc injuries, arthritis, and posture-related problems. If a patient presents with concerns outside this scope, we will refer them back to their GP or to the most appropriate specialist.
Yes, we will provide referral reply letters and progress notes on request. We value clear communication and aim to keep referrers updated so that patient care remains coordinated and transparent.
Yes, we accept Medicare referrals under Medicare’s GP Chronic Condition Management Plans. Patients with a valid GP referral can access rebates for chiropractic visits. A gap payment may apply depending on the level of Medicare cover.
Yes, we accept DVA referrals from GPs for eligible patients. Our team ensures that the referral is processed correctly so care can begin without unnecessary delays.
We aim to see referred patients as soon as possible, often on the same day or the following day. Our clinic offers extended hours, including evenings and Saturdays, to make scheduling easier. Urgent referrals can also be prioritised when required.
